| Sharon is a member of the Board of Directors of Vessel Publishing and writes and edits articles for Contents of the Weaker Vessel. She also maintains communication with the women who contribute articles to the publication. Sharon is a member of the Taylorsville Road church of Christ in Louisville, Kentucky. She is married to Paul Ayres who has been a preacher of the gospel since 1978. Paul and Sharon have raised four children: Shaun, Brian, Cara, and Paul, and are enjoying their four grandchildren.
